Regrettably, the portfolio manager team managing our emerging markets debt hard currency (EMD HC) strategy have decided to continue their careers outside Danske Bank Asset Management. We are sincerely sad to see them leave.
We have for the past year been strengthening our emerging markets debt teams and general franchise, which alongside our existing contingency plan puts us in a position to seamlessly continue managing the EMD HC strategy.
The core elements of this successful strategy, which our clients bought into, will remain – in other words, a combination of security selection, our country ratings model, strong ESG integration and risk management.
Our steadily growing EMD teams, our decades’ long fixed-income heritage and a deep EMD competence pool in the Nordic region means we will continue to develop and strengthen our EMD franchise.
The EMD HC team will stay with us until the end of August.
