Alternative investments are a strategic focus area in Danske Bank Asset Management. In recent years we have seen an increasing demand for alternatives, and as a consequence of this we are constantly examining how we can be relevant and supportive of our clients within the alternatives they seek.
Hedge funds constitute the core of our product offering within alternatives. We consider hedge funds to be an important asset class that can increase risk diversification and portfolio robustness, and thus increase the risk-adjusted returns.
We launched our first fixed income hedge fund back in 2004 and have since then accumulated a broad swathe of knowledge and experience in the area. Our hedge fund universe now includes funds within fixed income, volatility, equities and macro.
