Accessibility Statement for ATMs in Denmark

At Danske Bank A/S, we are committed to ensuring that our ATM services are accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. We strive to improve the accessibility and usability of our ATM in accordance with the WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

We assess our ATMs partly complies with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines outline how to make web content and services more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including accommodations for auditory, cognitive, neurological, physical, speech, and visual disabilities.

Our ATMs does NOT include the following accessibility features:

Screen magnifier (WCAG 1.4.4): There must be a screen magnifier button built into the system, which should be located so it is easy to find on the interface. Magnification should be as high as 30x. This is not possible on our current ATMs.

Language (WCAG 3.1.1): Danish and English are available in the standard software dialog. For audio guided services, Danish is the only supported language as of now. The plan is to support language selection for audio guided services in the nearest future.

Emergency button (WCAG 3.3): ATMs should have an easily accessible emergency button (physical or digital) to alert for help if a user faces any issues.

Limitations and Alternatives

While we strive to ensure our ATMs are fully accessible, there may be some limitations. If you find any feature inaccessible or difficult to use, our customer service team is ready to assist you with alternative banking solutions.
