1. First, you must register for Danske Mobile Banking in Danske eBanking under ‘Mobile services’. 
   
2. Once registered, you will immediately receive a 4-digit service code that you must use to log on to the Danske Mobile Banking app. You can change the service code in Danske Mobile Banking under the Settings menu item. The service code is your personal code that you must never disclose to anyone else.
   
3. You can download the app from App Store or Google Play. Search for ‘Mobilbank DK’. 

How to access Danske Mobile Banking

You can find your service code in Danske eBanking under ‘Mobile services’. You can also order a new service code via Danske Mobile Banking’s logon page. First tap the three dots in the upper-right corner. Then tap ‘Help to log on’.

How to create a service code

Yes. If you want to view your PIN, you must first log on to Danske Mobile Banking and then enter your service code. Naturally, you must be just as careful as when using your PIN for card payments. In other words, make sure no-one else can see your PIN.

Yes, you must have an account with Danske Bank and a Danske eBanking agreement.

The following applies from 23 January 2024:

• If you have an iPhone or iPad, you must have iOS15 (or later) installed.
• If you have a mobile phone or tablet with the Android operating system, you must use version 8 (or later).

How to update the operating system

iPhones og iPads:

1. Go to Settings
   
2. Tap General
   
3. Tap Software update
   
4. To update: Tap ‘Download and install’ (if available)

Android:
​Go to ‘Settings’ and select updating of software.

Why we update to newer versions of operating systems
​Manufacturers (Apple, Google, Samsung, etc.) regularly update their operating systems to new versions. This is done because of technological developments, but also to enhance consumer safety, as many of the updates are security updates.

As new versions of the operating systems are introduced, manufacturers stop updating the security features of the older versions. This is why we also regularly update the operating systems that need to be installed on mobile phones and tablets to allow our customers to use Danske Mobile Banking.

What should you do if you cannot update your operating system?
​You can install iOS15 on devices from 2014 or later: 

• IPhone 6s or later
• IPad 5th generation or later
• iPad Pro
• IPad Air 2nd generation or later
• IPad mini 4 or later
  

As there are many different manufacturers of mobile phones and tablets that use Android, we unfortunately cannot list all the specific devices that do not work with Android 8.

If your mobile phone or tablet is an older model, you cannot install new versions of the manufacturers’ operating systems.

This means various apps, including Danske Mobile Banking, can no longer be used on your mobile phone or tablet.
