Important information about security risk for Android devices

Have you received a message in your Danske Mobile Banking app that we have blocked your access due to a potentially harmful app on your Android phone or tablet?

For security reasons, we have temporarily blocked your access to Danske Mobile Banking.

This is because we have identified an app on your device that is potentially harmful – either because it contains harmful software or was downloaded from unofficial sources rather than Google Play or Samsung Galaxy stores.

In certain cases, the app may attempt to steal information from other apps, including your Danske Mobile Banking app.

The block will be lifted once you have removed the app.

How to remove the harmful app

  1. Go to settings on your Android device.
  2. Find the app stated in the message in Danske Mobile Banking.
  3. Uninstall the app.

You can now access Danske Mobile Banking once more.

We recommend that you only download apps from official sources

You can only access Danske Mobile Banking if the other apps on your device are downloaded from official sources. We therefore recommend that in future you only download apps from Google Play Store or Samsung Galaxy Store.
