Become a customer – it is easy and fast

Generally, anyone aged 18 and over can use the app – but if you are a student or a business customer, we recommend that you instead contact us via one of the links you can see here:

You can close the app at any time and continue later. To do so, log on using your MitID – you can then carry on from where you stopped. We store your responses for 7 days. After this time, you will have to start over again.

We have an obligation and a commitment to protect our customers, ourselves and society against financial crime. This requires, for example, that we collect information about our customers and about how they use our products and services.

When you sign up to be a customer via the app, you will be registered for our customer programme and Danske Hverdag+. You then get the Starter package for DKK 0 for the first 3 months.

The Starter package gives you access to:

• Danske Bank’s customer programme
• Danske Hverdag+
• A Danske Konto account
• A Mastercard Direct card Danske Mobile Banking and Danske eBanking
  

All this for DKK 0 for the first 3 months.

After this, the fee will range from DKK 0 to DKK 39 a month, depending on your volume of business with the Danske Bank Group – see also the question “What are the fees after the first 3 months?”

The Starter package fee applies for the first 3 months. After the first 3 months, you must pay for Danske Hverdag+.

The fee will depend on your total volume of business with Danske Bank – and thus the customer group you belong to:

• DKK 0 per month with a business volume exceeding DKK 2 million (the Eksklusiv+ customer group) 
• DKK 9 per month with a business volume of DKK 750,000 – 2 million (the Eksklusiv customer group)
• DKK 29 per month with a business volume of DKK 60,000 – 750,000 (the Ekstra customer group) 
• DKK 39 per month with a business volume of up to DKK 60,000 (the Basis customer group)

Once you are a customer, you can easily select additional products in Danske Mobile Banking, additional accounts for example.

With Danske Hverdag+, you can have all the Danske Konto accounts you need.

You can also replace the payment card from the Starter package with a Visa/Dankort card or a Mastercard Basis credit card – free of charge. Both cards require credit approval. 

If you would like to be a Danske Bank customer but do not wish to register for our customer programme or for the Starter package, please call us on +45 70 10 17 08. 

However, you should be aware that you will miss out on the benefits available under the customer programme and Danske Hverdag+.

If your need for banking products and services is very limited, the following accounts could also be an option: 

• A Basal Indlånskonto (basic deposit account), which consists of one account and one debit card*. Total fee: DKK 213.96 per year
• A Basal Betalingsonto (basic payment account), which consists of one account, one debit card * and Danske Mobile Banking and Danske eBanking. Total fee: DKK 559 per year

*A debit card is a standard payment card that can be used in ATMs in Denmark and abroad, in shops and online. The amounts you buy for are charged to your account immediately, and you cannot spend more than the amount that is available in your account.
