As an individual, you will also be affected by the rules if you are associated with a business that banks with us – for instance if you are the owner, an authorised signatory or an agent of a business and we have personal data about you in this connection.

    We collect and use personal data, for instance, to protect you and your business from fraud, to meet agreements with your business and to comply with regulatory requirements imposed on us as a bank.


    This means that we collect and use personal data when

    • your business has entered or is considering entering into an agreement with us on the provision of a service or product
    • you have consented for your personal data to be used by us for a specific purpose
    • we are required to do so by law

    If you want to know which personal data we have collected about you and how we use it, you are welcome to contact us. From 25 May, you can also order a detailed overview by contacting us.

    Are you associated with a business that banks with us and are you, as a private individual, a personal customer with us?

     In that case, you can also get a detailed overview in the Profile section in the new version of the mobile bank for personal customers from 25 May. You can also update the information if there have been changes. Read more

    If you believe that we have data about you or your business that is not up to date or irrelevant, you are always welcome to contact us to have it updated or deleted. Please note that legislation may require that we keep certain data for several years, also if you are no longer a customer of Danske Bank.
