Personal data is data that can be linked to you as a person. Examples of personal data we typically register is your name, address, and information about your household and financial situation.

Do the rules also apply to businesses?
If you are a sole trader, the new rules are of importance to you as a business customer, as they also apply to the data we have about your business. The rules do not apply to data about other types of businesses.
Are you, as a person, connected to a business that is a customer of Danske Bank?
If you are connected to a business that is a customer of ours, the rules are of importance to the personal data we have about you in that connection. For instance, we might have registered personal data about you if you are, for example, an owner, an authorised signatory or a mandate holder in a business that is a customer of ours.
